I'm sure the Young and Rubican office in Germany thought it was a cute idea that to their audience wasn't shocking. Probably works as an ad very well.
When I lived in Buenos Aires there was a short-term fad of t-shirts for kids with graphic English. You'd see a family in the mall and the 8-year-old girl's t-shirt would say "F*ck You!" in huge letters. Also (I'm guessing here) there may be some de-sensitivation from Hollywood movies.
